Ry letter dated September 27, 1983 you submitted your DCRDR Program Plan and we provided comments to you on December 7,1983. We, along with consultants from Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC) conducted an in-progress audit at the plant site between July 23 and 76, 1984.
Results of the audit were transmitted to you on September 12, 1984. You submitted a DCRDR Sumary Report for BV-1 on November 29, 1985. After review of the report, we had many concerns and held a meeting with your staff on February 13, 1986. The enclosed Technical Evaluation Report (TER), prepared by SAIC, is based on all infonnation transmitted to the NRC to date and information obtained at the meeting of February 13, 1986 We agree with the technical contents and conclusions of the TER and are concerned with the unresolved issues.
Please respond to the open issues in the TER, and arrange a meeting with us in the near future to discuss responses to the open issues and to establish a schedule for completing this review.
This information request affects fewer than ten respondents; therefore, OMB clearance is not required under P. L.06-511.
