This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. C. Z. Gordon on
July 23-24, 1986 at the Vermont Yankee Nuclear Power Station.
Discussions of
our findings were held by Mr. Gordon with Mr. Reid of your staff at the
conclusion of the inspection.
The areas examined during this inspection included review of changes to the

Emergency Plan and followup of open
items
identified during previous
inspections.
Within these areas, the inspection consisted of selective
examination of procedures, representative records, facilities and equipment,
interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified.
