Edwin I. Hatch Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2 During conversations with your staff in early May 1986 concerning whether nuclear heating is acceptable during the conduct of system pressure testing, we stated that we would assist Georgia Power Company in expediting a Code inquiry on this matter through the ASME.
To this end, we have addressed the enclestd memorandum to Dr. W. F. Anderson of the NRC staff who is also a membtr of the Subcommittee on ASME Section XI.
