REQUEST FOR' ADDITIONAL. INFORMATION ON THE CONTAINMENT SPRAY SYSTEM SOUTH TEXAS PROJECT UNITS 1 AND 2

.You informed the staff in a letter dated August 28, 1986 that the containment spray additive tank had been deleted from the South Texas design. The staff

. responded on October 17, 1986 that the altered design appeared to fall within the acceptable range of a new Standard Review Plan criterion beino developed by the staff.. Enclosed is a. request for additional information which would enable the staff to confirm this.

Please provide the response to the request by March 20, 1987.
