SUBJECT:
SUBMITTAL OF ANNUAL EMERGENCY EXERCISE OBJECTIVES, DETAILED SCENARIOS AND CONTROLLER PACKAGES Our letterLof October 11, 1984, requested a change'in the schedule for submitting emergency exercise information for NRC review.
With very few and minor exceptions, licensees in Region II have been most cooperative in complying with the requested schedule.
The letter also provided guicance for transmitting the scenarios and exercise objectives so as to protect them from inadvertent disclosure.
Several recent-submittals were given routine distribution within the NRC and were sent to the Public Document Room prior to the exercise because they were not sent to the addressee as shown below.
In order to protect the scenario and exercise objectives from ' disclosure to participants, you are requested to address this information to the Chief, Emergency Preparedness Section, U. S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission, Region II, at the letterhead address, marked "to be opened by addressee only."
