This leher provides an update to the MNGP USAR to include the results of NSP's analysis of cor'tainment overpressure for NPSH. The analysis results were reviewed and approved by the Staff by its SER iccompanying Amendment 98 to the Technical Specifications. The update is being submitted to satisfy a license conition contained in Appendix C of the MNGP operating license. This license condition is stated as follows.

Update Section 5.2 of the Updated Safety Analysis Report by incorporeting Figure E.2 of the NSP submittal dated July 10,1997, it is important to note that this update is solely intended to satisfy the requirements of the license cond. tion above and is not intended to catisfy the more comprob-nsive requirements for a periodic update of the USAR as described in 10 CFR 50.71(e). contains a copy of Revision 15 to the MNGP USAR, Eleven copies are provided for the Document Control Desk. A revised list of effective pages is included. This revision is effective October 31,1997.
