i The General Electric Company, Vallecitos Nuclear Center (VNC), curantly operates the General Electric Nuclear Test Reactor (NTR) pursuant to License R-SS (Ref.). As this license expires on October 31,1997, General Electric requests that License R-SS be renewed until October SI,2037.
- RENEWAL APPLICATIONINFORMATION I. Site Licenses The following licenses have been issued for the VNC site
- R-SS (Docket 5073),
l TR-1 (Docket 50 70), DPR-1 (Docket 5018), DR-10 (Docket 50-183), SNM-960 l (Docket 70-754), and 001760 (State of California).

- Financial infortnation is included in the SAR which will be forwarded under j separate cover.
III. Filing Fee No filing fee is enclosed.' GE understands that " full cost" fees will be billed by the NRC as required by 10CFR170.21.

' VII. Operator Licenses and Rean=lification Traininr Program j Operation of the Nuclear Test Reactor (NTR) is restricted to licensed operators.
Personnel currently licensed are:
