SUMMARY

MONTH: September,1997 Catawba Unit 2 began the month of September operating at 100% full power. The unit began decreasing powe. on 09/15/97 at 1953 and held at 50% power from 2055 to 09/16/97 at 0209 due to lo pole pressure -

- on "2B_ main generator breaker. The unit retumed to 100% full power on 09/16/97 at 1507, and operated at or near 100% full power the remamder of the month.
