Inspection No. 50-412/86-30
- This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. Cheung of
this office on September 29 - October 3,1986 at Beaver Valley Power Station,
Unit 2, located at Shippingport, Pennsylvania, of activities authorized by NRC
License No. CPPR-105 and to the discussions of our findings held by Mr. Cheung
with Mr. R. Coupland and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspection, and to a subsequent telephone discussion between Messrs. James
Beale, R. Coupland and Mr. Leonard Cheung on October 6, 1986.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
