Inspection Report 50-353/86-21
This refers to the routine resident safety inspection by Mr. R. A. Gramm and
J. E. Kaucher on December 22, 1986 to February 2, 1987 at the Limerick
Generating Station, Unit 2, Limerick, Pennsylvania of activities authorized by
NRC License No. CPPR-107 and to the discussions held by Mr. Gramm with Mr. J.
M. Corcoran and other members of your staff at the conclusion of the
inspection.
Based on the results of this inspection, it appears that two of your
activities were not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements, as set
forth in the Notice of Violation, enclosed as Appendix A.
These violations
have been categorized by severity level in accordance with the NRC Enforcement
policy (10 CFR 2, Appendix C).
A response to this report is required by 10 CFR 2.201, please follow the
instructions in Appendix A in the preparation of your response.
The response
directed by Appendix A, Notice of Violation, is not subject to the clearance
procedures of the Office of Management and Budget as required by the Paperwork
Reduction Act of 1980, PL 96-511.
