Update on waste from New Mexico Technology Research and Development Chuck Cain just called with an update on the U-235 and U-238 contaminated waste from New Mexio Technology Research and Development identified by ChemTex last week. Mike Brodderick of the state of Oklahoma was just at the Chief Chemical Site. and based on his review of the analysis, it appears that the material is probably radium based paint. and the MCA library 3robably just misidentified the material as U-235 and U-238. They're still looting at sending the material to Envirocare, but the University of New Mexico doesn't appear interested in footing the bill.

ENVIROCARE GROUNDWATER REPORT Bob; I am in receipt of a hard copy of a Nov. 20 letter from Dave Winters of Envirocare to Joe Holonich. A November 1996 groundwater report for the Second Quarter of 1996 accompanied the letter. Have you received a copy of the groundwater report? If not, do you need a copy? Please let me know.
In preparation for our Utah telecon (bi-monthly call) of Decembter 3, I suggest that we discuss the results of your Envirocare site inspection of last week and decide where we go from here. I propose that we have a conference call on Monday, December 2 at 10:00 EST.
