During the week of October 20-24, 1986, the NRC will conduct a team inspection at the Pilgrim site. The purpose of this inspection is to review the status,
' implementation and effectiveness of your actions taken to upgrade your Radiological Controls Program in response to the NRC Order Modifying License, dated November 29, 1984. We understand that site access training for the team will be expedited and appropriate members of your radiological controls staff will be available to interface with team members.
The inspection was announced in a discussion among Dr. M. Shanbaky of this office and Messrs. W. Deacon and T. Sowdon of your staff on September 25, 1986.
