Gentlemen:
SUBJECT: NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-369/86-37 AND 50-370/86-37
Thank you for your response of January 16, 1987, to our Notice of Violation
issued on December 15, 1986, concerning licensed activities conducted at your
McGuire facility.
We have evaluated your response and found that it meets the
requirements of 10 CFR 2.201.
We will examine the implementation of your
corrective actions during future inspections.
After careful consideration of the basis for your request that the violation
be withdrawn, we have concluded for the reasons presented in the enclosure to
this letter that the violations should remain as presented in the Notice of
Violation.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(d) and 10 CFR 73.21, safeguards information is
exempt from public disclosure.
Therefore, the enclosure to this letter will not
be placed in the NRC's Public Document Room.
