Inspection Report 50-353/86-07
This refers to the routine resident safety inspection by Mr. E. fl. Gray on
March 30,1986 - May 9,1986 at the Limerick Generating Station, Unit 2,
Limerick, Pennsylvania. Tha inspection consisted of document reviews,
interviews, and observation of activities, and the results have been discussed
with Mr. Dominick DiPaolo of your staff.
Based on the results of this inspection, it appears that two of your
activities were not conducted in full ceripliance with NRC requirements, as set
forth in the Notice of Violation, enclosed herewith as Appendix A.
These
violations have been categorized by seserity level in accordance with the NRC
Enforcement policy (10 CFR 2, Appendix C) published in the Federal Register
Notice (49 FR 8583) dated March 8, 1984. You are required to respond to this
letter and in preparing your response, you should follow the instructions in
Appendix A.
In accordance with 10 CFR 2.790(a), a copy of this letter and the enclosures
will be placed in the Public Document Room.
