Comed Letter to Document Control Desk dated February 27,1997 regarding " Response to Request for Additional Information regarding the Central Emergency Operations Facility" 2)

USNRC Letter to Comed dated February 8,1996 regarding "Use of the Corporate Emergency Operations Facility as an Interim Emergency Operations Facility" This purpose of this letter is to provide clarification conceming the intent of Comed's commitment regarding staffing of the proposed Central EOF. As stated in Reference (1),

Comed intends to staff the central EOF at ALERT with staff consistent with the 13 member Interim EOF staff as currently approved by the NRC, Comed further commits to staff the facility within the 60 minute goal stated in NUREG-0654. The clock measuring the success of any activation will begin upon the classification of an ALERT at any of our nuclear facilities.
