We have completed our review of the physical security plan for the protection of special nuclear material of low strategic significance for the Beaver Valley Power Station - Unit No. 2 titled, " Plan to Control the BVPS-2 Fuel Building for Temporary Storage of Fuel" submitted by your letter dated February 26, 1986.

Based on our evaluation, we have determined that the Plan meets the requirements of 10 CFR 73.67 for fixed site and in-transit protection of special nuclear material of low strategic significance.

Accordingly, your Plan as identified above is approved and must be fully imple-mented, including changes made pursuant to the authority of 10 CFR 70.32(e),

by the date.of fuel receipt.

f We have determined that the enclosure to your letter of February 26, 1986, contains information of a type specified in 10 CFR 2.790(d). Accordingly, pursuant to Section 2.790(d)(1), such information is deemed to be commercial or financial information within the meaning of 10 CFR 9.5(a)(4) and shall be subject to i

disclosure only in accordance with the provisions of 10 CFR 9.12.
