SUBJECT:
GENERIC REQUIREMENTS FOR BWR CONTAINMENT RESPONSE TO SEVERE ACCIDENTS Attached is the current proposed chronology of actions related to BWR containment enhancement. The effort has reached a point where I feel.that a meeting to discuss the containment response portion of the Peach Bottom study supporting the forthcoming NUREG-1150 will be very important to assure a consistent NRC thinking on BWR containment performance modeling.
I request that a meeting be arranged for mid October in which NUREG-1150 '
contributors can present and discuss their current analyses and potential conclusions with NRC staff and supporting consultants.
