ULNRC-150 4 CALLAWAY PLANT DOCKET NO. 50-483 PERIODIC VERIFICATION OF LEAK TIGHT INTEGRITY OF CALLAWAY PLANT PRESSURE ISOLATION VALVES
Reference:
Generic Letter 87-06, dated March 13, 1987 Union Electric received NRC Generic Letter 87-06 in March 1987.
The generic letter requested a list of all pressure isolation valves and a description of the measures performed to assure the integrity of the valves as independent barriers at the reactor coolant pressure boundary.
This submittal provides the requested information.
Callaway Technical Specification Surveillance Requirements 4.4.6.2.2 requires leak rate testing of all pressure isolation valves, and Table 3.4-1 provides a listing of all the reactor coolant system pressure isolation valves.
For your convenience the surveillance requirement is provided as Attachment A to this letter and Table 3.4-1 is provided as Attachment B.
Should additional information be required, please contact us.
Very truly yours, C
