UNQUALIFIED QC PERSONNEL AT HARRIS ALLEGATION NO. RII-86-A-0311 We have recently received, from the Department of Energy, the enclosed letter from an anonymous source.
It relates to activities at your Shearon Harris Nuclear Power Plant.
We request that you review the general allegations and conduct whatever inspections or investigations you deem necessary to reasonably prove or disprove the allegations.
No response to this letter is required.
However, should your review bring into question a safety issue (such as the adequacy of a safety system or component) we expect that the issue will be promptly brought to our attention.
