ORDER REGARDING ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATION EXTENSION OF THE NOVEMBER 30, 1985 DEADLINE FOR DONALD C. COOK NUCLEAR PLANT, UNIT 2 Discussion:
In accordance with the Commission's staff requirements memorandum on SECY-85-339, the NRC staff drafted an order that would grant the request of Indiana and Michigan Electric Company for an extension of the November 30, 1985 environmental qualification deadline for Donald C. Cook Nuclear Plant, Unit 2.
That draft order, which incorporates our comments as accepted by the staff, is attached hereto.
The Office of Policy Evaluation has reviewed the order and has no objections to its contents.
Recommendation:
Authorize the Secretary to issue the attached order.
