ORDER REGARDING ENVIRONMENTAL QUALIFICATION EXTENSION OF THE NOVEMBER 30, 1985 DEADLINE FOR POINT BEACH NUCLEAR PLANT, UNITS 1 AND 2 Discussion: In accordance with the Commission's staff .

requirements memorandum on SECY-85-330, the NRC staff drafted an order that would grant the request of Wisconsin Electric Power Company for an extension of the Noverter 30, 1985 environmental qualification deadline for Point Beach Nuclear Plant, Units 1 and 2. That draft order, which incorporates our coraents as accepted by the staff, is attached hereto. The Office of Policy Evaluation has reviewed the order and has no objections to its contents.

Recoraendation: Authorize the Secretary to issue the attached order.
