Gentlemen:
SUBJECT: REPORT NOS. 50-325/87-02 AND 50-324/87-02
Thank you for your response of April 2,1987 to our Notice of Violation, issued
on February 27, 1987 concerning activities conducted at your Brunswick facility.
We have evaluated your response and found that although additional information is
required, the . response to Violations 1 and 3 meet the requirements of
10 CFR 2.201; however, the response to Violation 2 does not meet the requirements
of 10 CFR 2.201(a)(3), specifically a date when full compliance will be achieved
was not included.
Based on a telephone call on April 10, 1987 between Mr. C. Dietz of your staff
and Mr. P. Fredrickson of this office, we understand that, in addition to the
full compliance date for Violation 2, you will also provide in a supplemental
response the following information:
Violation 1 - Your evaluation conducted to reach the isolated case conclusion.
Violation 3 - Provide
details
of
what
constitutes
" Increased
management / supervisory attention", which "has been focused on maintenance performed
in this area.'-
