The'following activities on your part will complete the NRR-Region V i
' request for your assistance in the review of allegations for the Diablo l
Canyon NJClear Power Plant. Your cooperation and contributions to date l
1re appreciated.
l (i) A: review of the IDVP piping activities to address your comments of Arril 24, 1984 is scheduled for June 18-22, 1984 at the offices of R. L. Cloud Associates in Oakland, CA.
You should plan to partici-pate as an active member of the review group performing this eval-uation.
(2) Your inspection report should be complet1d reflecting your observa-tions and conclusions. Since PG&E has decided to terminate the responsibilities and activities of the OPEG group at the Diablo Canyon site, many of the programmatic issues you raised, and which have been confirmed, related to OPEG activities may be mooted. The review group will meet with PG&E on June 29 to discuss these program-ntic issues, the extent to which the abolishment of OPEG will moot these concerns, and the steps to assure that an acceptable transition L
of activities takes place. The review group will recommend actions p
and/or license conditions if appropriate to assure full resolution
