Letter 2NRC-6-118 dated November 14, 1986, E. J. Woolever to R. W. Starostecki transmitting changes to the Beaver Valley Unit-2 Preliminary Safety Analysis Report Quality Assurance Program.
We have received the referenced letter transmitti ; six organizational changes to the Beaver Valley Unit 2 Quality Assurance Program described in section 17 of the Beaver Valley Power Station PSAR. Region I staff has reviewed and-found these changes acceptable as they do not reduce the commitments previously accepted in your Quality Assurance Program description. The changes to the organization were made to assist the orderly transition of the Beaver Valley Unit 2 Project from construction to startup.
The effectiveness of your QA Program implementation will continue to be the subject of routine regional inspections.
