Dear Mr. Papanic:
The Comission has issued the enclosed Amendment No.102 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-3 for the Yankee Nuclear Power Station (Yankee) in response to your application of October 15, 1985.
The amendment modifies the Technical Specifications regarding the reactor coolant system vent system by allowing power to be removed from the valves during normal plant operations.
A copy of our related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. A Notice of Issuance will appear in the Comission's next regular biweekly Federal Register notice.
