DOCKET NOS. 50-413 AND 50-414 CATAWBA NUCLEAR STATION, UNITS 1 AND 2 NOTICE OF WITHDRAWAL OF APPLICATION FOR AMENDMENTS TO FACILITY OPERATING LICENSES The United States Nuclear Regulatory Comission (the Comission) has granted the req 7est of the Duke Power Company, et al., (the licensee) to withdraw its May 6,1988, application of the Catawba Nuclear Station, Units 1 and 2, loca ced in York County, South Carolina. The proposed amendments would have changed the Technical Specifications by adding penetration M-375 to Table 3.6-1, adding valve NM-438B to Tables 3.6-2a and !.6-2b, and deleting information which is no longer applicable. The Comission issued a Notice of Consideration of Issuance of the Amendments in the FEDERAL REGISTER on June 15, 1988 (53 FR 22400). By letter dated August 24, 1988, the licensee withdrew its application for the proposed amendments because new volves and penetrations are no longer required.
