Subject: Combined Inspection Report Nos. 50-220/86-27; 50-410/86-66
A routine safety inspection was conducted by Mr. H. Bicehouse of this office
on December 1-5, 1986, of the water chemistry control program at the Nine Mile
Point Nuch.ar Station, Scriba, New York.- Our findings were discussed with
Messrs. T. Roman and C. Stuart and others of your staff at the conclusion of
the inspection on December 5, 1986.
The areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Combined Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these
areas, the inspection consisted of selective examination of' procedures and
representative records, interviews with personnel and observations by the
inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
No reply to this letter is required. Your cooperation with us in this matter
is appreciated..
