An inspection was conducted by Messrs. Amato, Fox, Thomas, and others of this
' office on November 12-13, 1986, at the Hope Creek Nuclear Generating Station,
Hancocks Bridge, New Jersey.
The areas examined during this inspection were limited to observation of your
Emergency Exercise conducted on November 12, 1986. Our findings are described
in the NRC Region I Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter.
Based on these observations your performance during this exercise demonstrated
the ability to implement your Emergency Plan in a manner that would provide
adequate protective measures for the health and safety of the public.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were identified and no
response to this letter is necessary.
