SUMMARY

OF MONTHLY OPERATING EXPERIENCE SEPTEMBER 1986 September 1 Power level was being held at approximately 75%

through as core physics testing continued.

September 2 September 3 At 0629 hours0.00728 days
0.175 hours
0.00104 weeks
2.393345e-4 months
a reactor trip, caused by the inadvertant actuation of Train A Reactor Trip Breaker Shunt Trip, occurred duri ng the tes ting of Train B's Reactor Protection Logic System. Reactor criticali ty was reestablished at 1424 hours, and the Unit was synchronized to the grid at 1610 hours0.0186 days
0.447 hours
0.00266 weeks
6.12605e-4 months
.

September 4 The Station was in operational Mode I with reactor through power at a nominal 100 percent with the Reactor September 11 Coolant System at a nonnal operating pressure and temperature.

September 12 At 2000 hours0.0231 days
0.556 hours
0.00331 weeks
7.61e-4 months
, on the 12th, Station cooldown toward through Mode 3 was initiated so that repairs could be performed September 13 on two Feedwater valves. The Unit was taken of f line at 2244 hours0.026 days
0.623 hours
0.00371 weeks
8.53842e-4 months
on the 12th and entered Mode 3 at 0032 hours3.703704e-4 days
0.00889 hours
5.291005e-5 weeks
1.2176e-5 months
on the 13th.

September 14 Repairs were completed at 1300 hours0.015 days
0.361 hours
0.00215 weeks
4.9465e-4 months
and reactor startup was begun at 1555 hours0.018 days
0.432 hours
0.00257 weeks
5.916775e-4 months
. Criticali ty occurred at 1626 hours0.0188 days
0.452 hours
0.00269 weeks
6.18693e-4 months
and the Unit was synchronized to the grid at 1756 hours0.0203 days
0.488 hours
0.0029 weeks
6.68158e-4 months
.

September 15 The Station was in Operational Mode 1 with reactor through power at a nominal 100 percent with the Reactor Coolant September 30 System at a ac mal operating pressure and temperature.
