FUNCTIONAL TESTING AND CALIBRATION FREQUENCY FOR INSTALLED AREA RADIATION MONITORS (TAC 61138)
Re:
La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor The Commission has issued the enclosed Amendment No. 49 to Provisional Oper-ating License No. DPR-45 for the La Crosse Boiling Water Reactor (LACBWR).
This amendment is in response to your application dated February 21, 1986.
The amendment provides that the functional testing frequency for installed area radiation monitors be changed from every two weeks to quarterly and the calibration frequency be changed from each refueling outage to at least once per 18 months.
A copy of our related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. The Notice of Issuance will be included in the Comission's biweekly Federal Register notices.
