SUBJECT:
SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT, LICENSE AMENDMENT APPLICATION DATED MARCH 25, 1988, RE REVISION OF OWNERSHIP INTERESTS
Background
On March 25, 1988, TUEC submitted an application for license amendment to revise the ownership interests in the CPSES.
Discussion The request for the revision reflects a transfer by the Texas Municipal Power Agency of its 6.2 percent ownership interest in CPSES to TUEC, thereby increasing TUEC's ownership to 941/30 percent. Brazos Electric Power Cooperative, Inc., and Tex-La Electric Cooperative of Texas, Inc., continue to own 3 4/5 percent and 21/6 percent interest in the CPSES, respectively. Since this change is administrative, it is recomended that Cor.dition 1 be revised as follows:

Conclusion / Findings The staff finds that the proposed change to the license will have no adverse effect on the public health and safety or on the environment. Approval of the amendment application is recommended.
