This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted in the area of nonradio-
logical chemistry by Mr. H. Zibulsky of this office on June 17-20, 1986, at the
Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit 2, Shippingport, Pennsylvania, of activities
authorized by NRC License No. CPPR-105 and to the discussions of our findings
held by Mr. Zibulsky with Mr. R. Druga and other members of your staff at the
conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
No reply to this letter is required. Your cooperation with us in this matter
