Company Corporate Office in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania and the Peach Bottom

Atomic Power Station Units 2 and 3 in Delta, Pennsylvania of activities

authorized 11 NRC License No. OPR-44 and DPR-56, respectively. The team's

findings were discussed with members of your staff at the conclurion of the i

inspection.  ;

Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I f

Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the

inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative i

records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.

Dased on the results of this inspection, it appears that one area of your ,

l activities was not conducted in full compliance with NRC requirements, as set l

forth in the Notice of Violation, enclosed herewith as Appendix A. This

! violation has been categorized by severity lovel in accordance with the  :

"General Statement of Policy and Procedure for NRC Enforcement Actions,10 CFR r
