This is in response to your request of November 8,1988, for the Comission to extend the public coment period on the proposed fitness.for. duty rule, As further discussed below, the Comitsion has provided ample opportunity for public awareness of and participation in this rulemaking process. Accordingly, your request must be denied.
Coments on the proposed rule should be submitted by November 21, 1988, t
kevertheless, coments received after that date will also be considered if it is practical to do so. However, we cannot assure full consideration except as to connents received by November 21, 1988.
