PUMP AND VALVE INSERVICE TESTING PROGRAM UNIT 2 - REVISION 3 For valves 2CA149, 2CA150, 2CA151 and 2CA152 add "A04 to the "RELF RQST" column and "CS" to the " TEST ALTN" column on the "Q" and "FS" rows. Add Relief Request #A04 to stroke time these valves to their fail safe positions during cold shutdown.

FUNCTION: Allow the CF pumps to pump water to the steam generator through the CA nozzles, minimizing preheater vibration.

i TEST REQUIREMENTS: Exercise valve to the fail safe position required to fulfill its function and stroke time every three months.
BASIS FOR RELIEF: The Westinghouse D-5 steam generator design requires j

these valves to be used for main feedwater flow. Closure of these valves would isolate this flow, possibly resulting j
in severe transients in thel steam generators.
1 ALTERNATE TESTING: Valves will be exercised to the fail safe position required to fulfill their function and stroke timed during cold shutdown.
