Re: License No. S101-1562 As discussed in our telephone conversation on October 29, 1982, we are requesting that our present Special Nuclear Materials License (S!01-1562) be amended to incluele a condition pertaining to the periodi.
leak tests required f ; Conditica 15.A. Itens 1. and 2.
We vould like, if possible, the conditior,to read the same as Ccndition 14.A. Item 3 of our By-Products License No. 22-13759 0?. which states:
The periodic leak test required by this condition does not apply to sealed sources that are stored and not being used.
The sources excepted from this test shall be tested for leckage prior '.o any use or transfer to another person unless they have been leak tested within six months prior to the date of use or transfer.
