Dear Sir:
This letter along with fee payment of $120.00 is submitted in support of Reserve Mining Company's request for renewal of our existing Special Nucicar Material license number SNM-1562.
I have elected to follow your alternative method of renewal application with a letter and referenced documents which represent our current program.
The documents submitted in support of our present. license have been reviewed along with those submitted in support of the two amendments to that original application.
A few changes have occurred at Reserve Mining Conpany which reflect only minor changce to the docua:ent a you have on file.
The documents which represent our current progtam art; Applications dated July 23, 1960 1
Amendment letter dated October 29, 1982 (Anendment No. 03)
Amendment letter dated February 27, 1984 (Amendment No. 04)
The minor changes referenced earlier are found in the original opplications of July 23, 1980. The minor updates are as follows:
- 1) The principal officers have changed, the present officers are:

The present owners are Armco Inc., Middletown, Ohio, and LTV Steel Corporation, Cleveland, Ohio.

In the education, training, and experience section it should now show an additional five years of. experience for Michael H.
Holmquist since the application dated July 23, 1980.
- 5) Appendix 2 "Leak Test Procedure" for cesium 137 sealed sources is updated to state:
leak tests will be conducted using either the the Suntrac Services SIT-1 (wet wipe only) leak test kit or Texas Nuclear QT/IS leak test.
Suntrac Service is located in Webster, Texas.
Reserve Mining Company wishes to ce'tinue to operate under its current license as originally submitted, amended and now updated.
Reserve Mining Company will cor.tirue to operate in accordance with those documents referenced in this letter and all applicable NRC regulations and license conditions.
