SUBJECT: NOTICE OF VIOLATION
(NRC INSPECTION REPORT NOS. 50-327/86-16 AND 50-328/86-16)
Thank you for your response of April 30, 1986, to our Notice of Violation issued
on March 26, 1986, concerning activities conducted at your Sequoyah facility. A
telephone conference between Messrs. R. Alsup and G. Kirk of your staff and.
Messrs. M. Shymlock and B. Crowley of Region II was held on May 20, 1986, with
regard to the criterion cited in the Notice of Violation.
It is our understand-
ing that it is more appropriate that the subject violation should be cited based
on TVA General Construction Specification G-32 instead of the IEB 79-02 program.
Consequently, we are reissuing the Notice of Violation which has been revised to
replace the previously issued one for the subject inspection report.
We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
