This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. M. Dev of this
office on February 23-27, 1987, at Beaver Valley Power Station, Unit 2,
Shippingport, Pennsylvania, of activities authorized by NRC License No.
CPPR-105 and to the discussions of our findings held by Messrs. M. Dev and-
J. Beall with Mr. S. Fenner of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection. .
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region I
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspectors.
Our inspector also verified the steps you have taken to correct the violation
brought to your attention in a letter dated November 22, 1985. We have no
further questions regarding your action at this time.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
