OPERATIONS NARRATIVE Cooper Nuclear Station Octcber 1988 l

l One power reduction of greater than 20% was made during the month of October.

On October 9, a oower reduction of 27% tias made to accommodate scheduled meintenance on a Reactor Recirculation Motor Generator Set and surveillance testing on the Main Turbine and Pain Steam Isolation Valves.

No scheduled or unscheduled shutdowns, or other significant power reductions were experienced during the month of October.

A capacity factor of 99.8% was achieved for the month.
