1 Gentlemen-1 This letter is to inform the NRC that Southem Califomia Edison (SCE) will submit the additional information requested by the NRC in a letter dated March 26,1999 (Reference 1) by May 28,1999. Reference 1 requested information by April 25,1998 in support of NRC review of Amendment Applications 168 and 154 for San Onofre Units i
2 and 3, " Diesel Generator Testing," (Reference 2). However, SCE needs additional i
time to develop a response. During a recent telephone discussion with SCE's Plant I
Licensing Manager, the NRC Project Manager for Units 2 and 3 has agreed to the delay in the response while SCE has further discussions with the NRC staff.
