10 CFR 50.54(p) SUBMITTAL - PILGRIM NUCLEAR POWER STATION, UNIT 1 This is in response to your letter of June 1,1988, regarding changes to the Pilgrim Nuclear Power Station, Unit 1, Physical Security Plan identified as Revision 5.

We have reviewed the information and have determined that portions of that plan are consistent with the provisions of 10 CFR 50.54(p) and are therefore acceptable. However, as indicated in the enclosure, one portion decreases the effectiveness of the security program and is therefore inconsistent with the provisions of 50.54(p), and should be revised as indicated in the enclosure.

The enclosures to your letter contain Safeguards Information of a type specified in 10 CFR 73.21 and are being withheld from public disclosure.
