SUMMARY

OF OPERATING EXPERIENCES At the beginning of the month the plant was at 99.3% power.

On February 1st, a load reduction to 55% power was made to troubleshoot the turbine driven main feed pump (P2C) oil system and to allow turbine valve testing. Loading was commenced late in the day.

On February 2nd, power was stabilized at 99.3% due to RPS pre-trips.

On February 7th, the turbine valve limiter drifted down. Power remained at 98.3% because the limiter could not be raised. ,'

On February 15th, power was reduced to 10% to repair the turbine valve limiter. Later in the day power was increased to 99.2% by midnight.

On February 19th, power was reduced to 84% due to a generator hydrogen leak.

1 On February 21st, the unit was shutdown to repair the generator hydrogren leak.

On February 27th, the reactor was brought critical in preparation for plant startup.

On February 28th, the reactor was shutdown because the generator repairs ware unsuccessful in stopping the hydrogen leak.

l The plant remained shutdown through the remainder of the month.
