Line 1-FD-10DBA-001 Reference - PSE&G submittal dated 12/15/98, Attachment 3, Page 19 Provide information regarding volumetric examination coverage for this weld and/or results of previous examinations performed which provide reasonable assurance of structuralintegrity.

Relief Reauest RR-C1: Pumo Casina Welds (Items C6.10)

Reference - PSE&G submittal dated 12/15/98, Attachment 4, Pages 5,6,7, and 8 ISI Weld identification Figures B-2 and B-3 appear to show that the location, orientation, and interferences are identical for the welds associated with the core spray pumps and RHR pumps respectively. Clarify why the surf ace examination coverages are different for welds in the same location for the core spray pump versus the RHR pump welds. For example, only 18% coverage is possible on weld RHP-W2, while 73% coverage is possibly on weld CSP-W2.
