Dear Mr. Denton:
The application for construction permits and operating licenses for Byron Station Units 1 rnd 2 and Braidwood Station Units 1 and 2, docketed on September 20, 1973, are hereby amended by submittal of Amendment 47 pursuant to 10 CFR 50.34.
Amendment 47 to the Byron /Braidwood FSAR consists of responses to new questions from the Effluent Treatment Systems Branch (321.0 series), the Instrumentation and control Systems Branch (420.0 series), the Quality Assurance Branch (423.0 series), the Chemical Engineering Branch (600.0 series), the Human Factors Engineering Branch (620.0 series), and the Procedures and Test Review Branch (640.0 series).
Also included are revised responses to Questions 010.64, 040.2, 040.4, 040.12, 040.17, 040.40, 040.53, 040.96, 121.2, 270.3, 311.14 (Braidwood), 311.15 (Byron), 321.75, 321.87, 362.1 (Braidwood), and 423.25, and text changes.
Attachment A to this letter is an itemized summary of changes contained in the amendment. Attachment B to this letter is a table of differences between pages contained in Amendment 47 and pages previously transmitted to the NRC for advanced review.
