ISSUANCE OF SAFETY EVALUATION REPORT RELATING TO USE OF ASME CODE CASE N-411 FOR LIMERICK GENERATING STATION, UNIT 2 A safety evaluation prepared by the Office of Nuclear Reactor Regulation in connection with your proposals of March 27 and December 24, 1986 and January 13 and 27, 1987 is enclosed. Your letters proposed and provided justification for use of the damping values of ASME Code Case N-411, " Alternative Damping Values for Seismic Analysis for Classes 1, 2 and 3 Piping Sections,Section III, Division 1" in lieu of' the damping values currently identified in the FSAR for Limerick Unit 2. As indicated in the enclosure, we find your pror.osed change acceptable.
