This refers to the routine safety inspection conducted by Mr. Jame. A. Prell of
this office on September 7-9, 1988, at Seabrook Station, Unit 1. Seabrook,
New Hampshire, of activities authorized by HRC License No. NPF-56 and to the
discussions of our findings held by Mr. Prell with Mr. Don Moody and other
members of your staff at the conclusion of the inspection.
Areas examined during this inspection are described in the NRC Region !
Inspection Report which is enclosed with this letter. Within these areas, the
inspection consisted of selective examinatio-s of procedures and representative
records, interviews with personnel, and observations by the inspector.
Within the scope of this inspection, no violations were observed.
