Dear Mr. Andrews:
In conducting our review of your Au' gust 15, 1985 submittal relating to the Control Room Design Review Report Supplement on the Safety Parameter Display System (SPDS) at the Fort Calhoun Station, Unit No. 1, we have determined that we will need additional information to continue our review.
The additional information deals with the assessment and disposition of the human engineering discrepancies (HEDs) identified for the SPDS.
In order for us to maintain our review schedule, we recommend a 2-day meeting at your facilities.
This approach was discussed with and agreed to by your staff.
Our proposed agenda is enclosed, and the meeting is tentatively scheduled for the last week of February 1986.
The specific 2 days will be mutually agreed upon between your NRR Project Manager and your staff.
The reporting and/or recordkeeping requirements contained in this letter affect fewer thar. 10 respondents; therefore, OMB clearance is not required under P.L.96-511.
Please contact us if you have any questions concerning this letter.
Sincerely,
>l Ashok C. Thadani, Director PWRProjectDirectorate#8 Division of PWR Licensing-B i
