Virgil C. Summer Nuclear Station Docket No. 50/395 Operating License No. NPF-12 10 CFR 55.41 Report of Licensed Operator Disability
Dear Dr. Grace:
In accordance with the requirements of 10 CFR 55.41, the following report for a licensed operator disability is submitted.
Mr. Roy D. Young, License No. OP-20291, incurred strained ligaments of the knee in non-work related activities on July 18, 1986. Mr. Young has been removed from licensed opera.or duties and during his convalescense will be assigned administrative duties. Mr. Young will be returned to licensed operator duties i
upon recovery from his injury.
Notification of Mr. Young's return to licensed duties will be made to the Commission and will include an updated Form NRC-396, " Certificate of Medical History."
It is not expected at this time that Mr. Young will be removed from licensed duties for a period of four months or greater; therefore, no statement of training requalification should be necessary.
