Big Rock Point Plant The Cornission has issued the enclosed Amendrent No. 81 to Facility Operating License No. DPR-6 for the Big Rock Point Plant.
This amendment is in response to your application dated August 16,19P5 es revised by submittal dated September 24, 1985.
The amendment requests changes be made to the Big Rock Point (facility)
Technical Specifications (TS) in support of the planned fuel reloading.
Specifically the reload Il fuel Maximum Average Planar Linear Heat Generation Rate (MAPLHGR) Limits and Minimum Critical Power Ratio (VCPP) are te be char.ged. The changes are required in order to implement new reactor cperating limits for the reload Il fuel design.
Notices of Consideration of Issuance of Amendment to License and Proposed No Significant Fazards Consideration Determination and Opportunity for Hearing related to the requested action were published in the Federal Register cn September 11, 1985 (50 FR 37078) and on October 1, 1985 (50 FR 40076). No public comments or requests for hearing were received.
A copy of our related Safety Evaluation is also enclosed. This action will appear in the Comission's biweekly notice publication in the Federal Register.
